The Investigation Game | Case of the Man Cave, provides players with opportunities to apply the standard of objectivity using the investigative process as they solve a multi-million dollar embezzlement loss and find recoverable assets in the process. After a short concept-based webinar presentation about the standard of objectivity using the investigative process, players have 65 minutes to work through the case to calculate the embezzlement loss and find recoverable assets. A webinar presentation with the solution and real case facts wraps up the event.   The Case of the Man Cave is a 100-minute presentation recommended for 2 hours of ethics CPE credit.

Group-Live Presentation Overview

After a short concept-based presentation about standard of objectivity using the investigative process, teams of up to 5 members have 65 minutes work through the Case of the Man Cave card game to calculate the embezzlement loss and find recoverable assets. A presentation with the solution and real case facts wraps up the event with points and prizes.

  • Prerequisites: Experience in forensic accounting, auditing, or related field is helpful throughout the event.

  • Advanced Preparation: None

  • Recommended CPE Hours: 2 NASBA certified hours* of Behavioral Ethics ; *1 CPE hour = 50 minutes
