Leah Wietholter, MBA, CFE, PI, CPA
Chief Executive Officer

Leah is the CEO and Founder of Workman Forensics in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Leah is a licensed Private Investigator in Oklahoma and a licensed Certified Public Accounting in Oklahoma and Utah.

While working for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Leah discovered an interest and talent for forensic accounting. After leaving the FBI, she served as a senior certified fraud examiner in a Tulsa public accounting firm before leaving to open Workman Forensics in 2010. 

With over 17 years of experience and more than 200 cases worked, Leah has honed her industry expertise to create the Data Sleuth® Process—a scalable, data-first approach to Forensic Accounting Engagements and Fraud Investigations.

Leah also hosts The Data Sleuth® Podcast. A bi-weekly podcast where she discusses all things investigation with other industry experts—providing tips and tools to help listeners become better investigators. Check out The Data Sleuth® Podcast here!

She holds an undergraduate degree in accounting from Oral Roberts University and an MBA from Oklahoma State University.

Megan Brown, CPA, PI
Forensic Accounting Director

Megan has experience in public and corporate accounting — for both private industry and public companies. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Oklahoma State University, she moved to Tulsa and subsequently joined the Workman Forensics team. Currently, Megan serves on the board for Street School Inc., a local nonprofit that combines alternative education and therapeutic counseling to help Tulsa students. She also volunteers as a driver for the American Cancer Society’s Road to Recovery Program and is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oklahoma Society of CPAs.

Rachel Organist, CFE
Data Analytics Director

Originally trained as a geologist, Rachel obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, and a Master of Science from Penn State University. When her work in the oil and gas industry didn’t provide the career satisfaction she was looking for, she researched other fields and found forensic accounting to be the perfect place to apply her analytical skills.

In her work with Workman Forensics, Rachel uses her expertise in scientific reasoning as well as her aptitude for identifying, collecting and synthesizing data to undertake financial investigations. As of 2021, Rachel is an official CFE!
