With well over a decade of IT and software development experience, Hutchins holds an undergraduate degree from Oral Roberts University in management and is working toward a management of information systems degree from Missouri State University.
Hutchins has held various IT roles and has 16 years of experience working as a lead information technology auditor for a Fortune 500 energy company. While there, he developed fraud analytics that were used to find travel and expense fraud and undisclosed employee conflicts of interest.
Serving as part of the Tulsa chapter of the Association of Fraud Examiners and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), Hutchins has worked to promote and further his industry, serving in multiple roles for both boards including president and vice president. He also volunteers his time at a faith-based Tulsa nonprofit he and his wife co-established in 2010, reading with elementary school students and mentoring teens in a low-income community.
